Ishaq Dar holds telephonic conversation with FMs of Trkiye and Egypt

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Trkiye HakanFidan.

They discussed the evolving regional situation and underscored the importance of dialogue, and restraint. Both expressed hope for an early understanding among all parties which would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.

The two leaders agreed to maintain close coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest and continue high-level engagements to advance the multifaceted Pakistan-Trkiye partnership.

Meanwhile Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

They discussed regional developments and stressed the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement. FM Abdelatty appreciated Pakistan's continued mediation efforts, and both leaders expressed hope that ongoing efforts would lead to an early understanding between the parties, contributing to lasting regional peace and stability.

FM Abdelatty extended an invitation to the DPM/FM to attend the upcoming meeting of the Regional Four (R-4) foreign ministers in Egypt later this month, which the DPM/FM graciously accepted. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact.
