Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Muhammad Ishaq Dar has appreciated the President Donald Trump to halt the suffering in Gaza.
In his statement on X, Ishaq Dar said, 'We are extremely grateful to our brothers from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Trkiye, and Indonesia for our joint efforts through several rounds of deliberations at UNGA80, before and after the meeting with our leadership and President Donald J. Trump that brought us to the attached Joint Statement.'
He said, 'We deeply value the president and his team's focused engagement with Arab-Islamic leaders to halt the suffering in Gaza through an immediate ceasefire, unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, and by opening a path towards peace and reconstruction.'
'Pakistan remains firmly committed to working alongside brotherly countries and the United States to advance these shared goals and to support a just and lasting peace for the Palestinian people - with the goal of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine,' he concluded.
