Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting on Friday with Malaysian Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.
The two sides reaffirmed close and brotherly ties between Pak and Malaysia and discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and economy, mutual legal assistance and people-to-people exchanges.
They also exchanged views on regional and International developments of mutual interest and reaffirmed commitment to working closely for shared objectives of peace, stability and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary for Commerce Jawad Paul, Federal Secretary for National Food Security and Research Amer Ali Ahmed and senior MoFA officials.
