Shinghai: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has met UN Secretary General Ant³nio Guterres in Shanghai on the sidelines of World AI Cooperation Conference .

The two exchanged views on regional and international situation and different matters of mutual interest.

The two while reviewing the existing regional and international challenges agreed that multi-lateral cooperation , global partnership and strong diplomatic connectivity are must to deal with these problems effectively.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan attaches high importance to UN role for global peace, sustained development and comprehensive movement forward. Pakistan is committed to its resolve for continuing constructive cooperation to confront common challenges along with international community.

Stress was laid on the need for further strengthening joint efforts for promotion of global stability, cooperation and development.
