Dhaka: As part of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister's interaction with different political stakeholders, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with a delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Five-member delegation was led by Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammed Taher, Naib Ameer.

According to the statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, the ways to strengthen Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and the recent developments in the region were two key areas of discussion.

Ishaq Dar lauded the courage and steadfastness of the Jamaat leaders and activists in the face of hardships and difficulties.

Ishaq Dar also inquired about the health of the Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and also prayer for his early recovery.
