New york: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan Foreign Minister of Singapore, on sidelines of 81st Session of UNGA in New York.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation across diverse areas of mutual interest. They agreed that sustained engagement and high-level exchanges would help deepen bilateral ties and advance mutually beneficial cooperation.

The two Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest. Foreign Minister Balakrishnan appreciated Pakistan's efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional challenges. Both Ministers agreed to stay in close contact.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with E.P. Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda, on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The two sides held cordial discussions on bilateral relations and expressed a shared desire to further strengthen ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation, including in education, diplomatic training, and other areas of mutual interest. They also discussed cooperation at multilateral fora, particularly within the Commonwealth and the United Nations.

The two sides agreed to meet again at the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda, in November 2026.
