Ishaq Dar visits the Headquarters of the Asian Development Bank in Manila

Manila: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar visited the Headquarters of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila on Wednesday, where he was received by the Director General for the Central and West Asia Department, Ms. Leah Gutierrez. He signed the ADB Visitors' Book upon arrival.

Ishaq Dar was later hosted at a working lunch by Pakistan's Executive Director to the ADB, Ms. Nashita Mohsin, with a group of Pakistani professionals serving in senior leadership positions across the ADB.

The interaction provided an opportunity to exchange views on the ADB's evolving development agenda, its partnership with Pakistan, and the important role being played by Pakistani professionals in advancing the Bank's work across a broad range of sectors and regions. DPM/FM appreciated their valuable contributions to the ADB's mission and acknowledged the distinction they bring to Pakistan through their leadership and expertise at the institution.

Ishaq Dar also congratulated Ms. Nashita Mohsin on assuming her responsibilities as Pakistan's Executive Director to the ADB and wished her success in advancing Pakistan's engagement with the ADB.
