Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has welcomed the statement of Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

In a statement issued on X, Ishaq Dar wrote 'Truly appreciate your clarification, my Dear Brother @Araghchi'.

Earlier on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that Iran's position is being misrepresented by U.S. media.

In a statement issued on X, Iranian FM said that we are deeply grateful to Pakistan for its efforts and have never refused to go to Islamabad. What we care about are the terms of a conclusive and lasting END to the illegal war that is imposed on us.

The Iranian FM has also shared the video of rally in which Iranian people while holding Pakistani flags and holding placards scribing 'Pakistani awam ki muhabbad Iran nahin bhulega' are chanting slogans of 'Pakistan Shukariya' and 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

The Iranian Embassy in Pakistan also reposted the X post of Iranian FM while writing 'Pakistan Zindabad', 'Shukariya Pakistan'.
