Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that thirteen militants affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate counter-terrorism operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on December 12-13, 2025.
In the first operation, intelligence-based security action in Mohmand District led to the elimination of seven militants following an intense exchange of fire. In a separate operation in Bannu District, six more militants were neutralized by the Security Forces.
Sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure no remaining militants are present in the affected areas. The ISPR stated that Pakistan's Security Forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam', approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
