Rawalpindi: Pakistan security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur District, Balochistan, targeting terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan.
During the operation, security forces engaged the terrorists in an intense firefight, resulting in the elimination of three militants, including local area commander Farooq alias Soro, along with terrorists Adeel and Waseem. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the site.
The terrorists were reported to have been actively involved in multiple attacks in the region. Sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure no other Indian-sponsored militants remain in the area.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reaffirmed that Pakistan's relentless counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam' approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
