Islamabad: Pakistan has succeeded in obtaining 10500 jobs quota from Italy.

According to Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis Italy has allotted job quota for the next three years.

As many as 3500 Pakistan will go to Italy every year till three years. They will go to Italy against 1500 seasonal and 2000 non seasonal quota every year.

Quota to Pakistan has been allotted in ship breaking , hospitals , health care and agriculture sectors.

As per ministry of Overseas Pakistanis job will be given to Pakistanis in the fields of welding, technical, cheff, waiters, house keeping, nursing, medical technician and cultivation.

Italy is first European country which has allotted jobs quota for Pakistanis.

Federal Minister Chaudhry Salak Hussain has said second meeting of joint working group of Pakistan and Italy will take place in February 2026 in Islamabad. Allocating job quota for Pakistanis is a milestone.

He hoped soon the doors of more European countries will open for Pakistani workforce.
