Rawalpindi: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the raid by the Srinagar Investigation Agency (SIA) on the house of illegally incarcerated Chairman JKLF, Muhammad Yasin Malik, launched early this morning, and the harassment of his elderly mother and sister during the search operation. JKLF believes that India now wants to fulfill its heinous anti-Kashmir ambitions through this newly formed investigative agency (SIA) in occupied Jammu Kashmir. The agency has been tasked to re-examine 35-year-old and fictitious cases and use them against pro-freedom political leaders, which is highly condemnable. In a statement issued from the party's Central Information Office in response to the Delhi High Court order, the JKLF Chief Spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, said that the Indian government is pursuing a despicable policy of targeting Yasin Malik with the worst kind of political vendetta. He termed the process of issuing notices and orders in the absence of Yasin Malik as unilateral judicial action. E xpressing concern over India's aggressive actions against Yasin Malik, Rafiq Dar strongly condemned such despicable acts. The spokesman in his statement reiterated that the JKLF shall intensify its efforts to expose India's inhumane behavior and her illegal as well as aggressive actions against Yasin Malik by locally as well as globally conducting a vigorous campaign in this regard.According to the statement, the JKLF spokesman made it clear that the Indian government, succumbing to fascism, is hell bent upon suppressing the Kashmiris to give up their demand for freedom through oppressive and coercive measures. He said that after the NIA, the establishment of the SIA in occupied Jammu Kashmir makes it clear that India is using every aggressive tactic against the Kashmiris. According to the statement, the JKLF as the national representative and guardian of the martyrs, is determined to continue the struggle until the state of Jammu Kashmir achieves complete independence and sovereignty. He said that in view of the freedom movement with overwhelming peoples support and the unprecedented sacrifices made by the people at national level, India, despite its state terrorism, cannot deprive Kashmiris of their right to freedom for too long.Meanwhile Muhammad Rafiq Dar has appreciated the ongoing efforts of the party founders Raja Muzaffar Khan, Professor Raja Zafar Khan, Nazim Bhatti, Malik Latif, Malik Aijaz, Qari Ajaib, Haji Muhammad Iqbal and Chaudhry Muhammad Rafiq, to unite different JKLF factions. The spokesman particularly welcomed the move taken by Raja Muzaffar Khan, according to which he resigned from the chairmanship of his group aiming to unify the party. Rafiq Dar, on behalf of his party, expressed his resolve to extend all possible support to the efforts initiated by the JKLF founders, especially of Raja Muzaffar Khan, to unite various factions of the party.
