Liverpool: A high-profile delegation of the Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI), led by Founding Chairman Raja Najabat Hussain Sitara-i-Pakistan, actively participated in the concluding sessions of the Labour Party Annual Conference. The delegation included Former Lord Mayor of Manchester Councillor Yasmine Dar, Chairperson of the International Lobby on Kashmir, Zeshan Araf, Chairman of the JKSDMI Youth Wing, Professor Dr. Tamoor Shafiq, Secretary General of the International Lobby on Kashmir, and Former Lord Mayor of Manchester Councillor Abid Latif Chohan.Over the two days, the delegation held several important meetings with Labour Party parliamentarians, ministers, and diplomats from various countries. The JKSDMI team lobbied senior dignitaries on the Kashmir issue, calling for support of the campaign for the right to self-determination and the protection of human rights in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.Parliamentarians were also invited to attend upcoming Ka shmir Seminars and Conferences scheduled to take place across Bradford, Oldham, Manchester, Birmingham, and London between 24th October and 6th November. These events will mark Yom-e-Tasees Azad Kashmir, Kashmir Black Day, and Jammu Martyrs Day.Raja Najabat Hussain expressed gratitude to all supporters of the Kashmir cause, as well as JKSDMI officials worldwide, for their ongoing dedication and hard work. Councillor Yasmine Dar highlighted her extensive discussions with diplomats during the conference and announced plans to organise a special Kashmir Lobby Conference with members of the diplomatic community in Manchester and London at the end of November.
