Islamabad: Joint session of both the houses of parliament has been summoned on March 10 at 3 p.m.

President Asif Zardari summoned session on the advice of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

President Asif Zardari will address joint session. The second parliamentary year will commence with the address by president Asif Zardari.

The joint session will take place in parliament house.

Strict security measures have been taken on occasion of joint session of parliament.

Entry of guests to parliament house will be fully banned due to security reasons.

Special invitation cards will be issued to media representatives in connection with coverage of press gallery.

Cards to be issued for 12 sessions for press gallery will not be workable for joint session of parliament.

Media institutions are requested to send name of two reporters among their reporters to whom cards were already issued. Names be sent through beat reporters so that special invitation cards could be issued for joint session of parliament.
