Islamabad: It has been revealed during the hearing of the case in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the decision of sending back the section officers appointed on deputation to their respective provinces that petitioners had approached the judge.
Upon it judge Arbab Muhammad Tahir recused from hearing the case.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir expressed resentment over it.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir while addressing the petitioners said that 'You seek recommendations and have people call me. This is not how things work. It is wrong and inappropriate,'
Raja Aleem Khan Abbasi counsel for the petitioner appeared in the court and took the plea these section officers who are appointed on deputation are basically teachers. They have challenged the decision regarding return to their respective provinces. The petitioners have challenged the notification on sending them back to their respective department. The petitioners want they be regularized.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said the legal arguments could be considered but the attempts to contact him were inappropriate. The court while recusing from hearing the case sent the file to chief justice office.
The petitioners in the case include Khalid Mahmood, Muhammad Arif, Dilshad Ahmed, Saeed Chaudhry, Dr Muhammad Ismail and Najeebullah.
