Islamabad: Justice Azam Khan of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has recused himself from hearing appeal plea against acquittal of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Iddat case.
The appeal plea against acquittal of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi was sent to Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq for constitution of new bench.
Shoaib Shaheen said we want to say some thing before giving arguments. You have already disclosed your mind. Case be shifted to some other bench.
Justice Azam Khan gave remarks on Shoaib Shaheen plea that he had heard a review petition against one order. We send the file to CJ IHC for constitution of new bench.
The appeal pleas against the acquittal of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in iddat case came up for hearing before additional judge justice Azam Khan.
Zahid Asif Chaudhry, Iqbal Kakar and others appeared in the court on behalf of Khawar Manika.
Ali Bokhari, Shoaib Shaheen, Niaz Ullah Niazi and others represented Imran Khan in the court.
Zahid Asif Chaudhry told the court we have challenged Additional sessions Judge july 13, 2024 decision regarding acquittal.
Shoaib Shaheen said I want to say some thing before offering arguments. You have already disclosed your mind, therefore, case be transferred to some other bench.
Justice Azam Khan remarked we had heard review petition against one order. We send the file to chief justice for constitution of new bench.
Later the court sent the matter to CJ IHC for formation of new bench who will constitute new bench in this matter.
