Islamabad: Chairman NIRC Justice (Retd) Shaukat Siddiqui has resigned from his office.

Chairman NIRC has tendered resignation on personal grounds.

Notice for termination of agreement has been sent to the president through secretary ministry of overseas.

According to notice notification to appoint him as chairman NIRC was issued on December 02, 2024. He assumed charge of his office on November 4, 2024. However it has become impossible for him to discharge obligations on personal grounds.

He said one month notice is being given to terminate the agreement under clause x11.
