Islamabad: Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has challenged Sindh High Court (SHC) decision in Supreme Court(SC).

Challenging SHC decision, judge of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has requested SC to declare SHC September 25 decision null and void.

The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that SHC dismissed the plea for becoming respondent. One sided decision without hearing the aggrieved respondent is against the law. SHC neglected the matter related to maintainability of the petition.

Sindh Education Commission, Karachi university. PEMRA and others have been made respondents in the petition.

The petition filed by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said the petitioner was not made respondent in SHC.

The petition further said time was not given to petitioner to become respondent and hire lawyer before making decision by SHC.

The matter of degree in respect of the petitioner could not be fixed in constitutional bench.

It was further said in the petition that the petitioner is sitting judge had remained office bearer in different bar associations. The cancellation of degree of the petitioner is based on ill intent and illegal act.
