Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar Advocate has stated that Pakistan takes great pride in its three Armed Forces.
Attaullah Tarar expressed these views in an interview with a private TV channel. He emphasized that the Pakistan Armed Forces are always prepared to defend the motherland. If India attempts any misadventure, it will be met with a strong response - one that India will not be able to withstand, he added.
He said that if India wants to see real heroes, they should look at the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy. Pakistan's clear military superiority has been established in front of the world, and with Almighty Allah's help, we have achieved victory against India. India is still in shock and is unable to digest the fact that Pakistan has not only asserted military dominance but also effectively projected its narrative internationally - even to the extent that Donald Trump mentioned Kashmir. This has caused India great embarrassment.
Attaullah Tarar further stated that for the peace and prosperity of the region, dialogue between Pakistan and India must move forward, including discussions on the Kashmir issue. According to UN resolutions, the right to self-determination belongs to the Kashmiri people. Pakistan has always maintained that it will continue to extend diplomatic, political, and moral support to the Kashmiris.
He also said that the Indus Waters Treaty cannot be unilaterally changed without mutual consent, and India cannot divert or block the flow of water.
Speaking about domestic politics, he said that Pakistan is in favor of dialogue and political consensus with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and matters should move forward through understanding. He acknowledged that PTI has stood united with the government on the issue of war with India and, overall, has supported the national narrative - something he appreciated. A positive atmosphere of national unity and harmony has been created, and everyone has played their part in this.
He concluded by saying that Pakistan has achieved significant success on the diplomatic front and that Pakistan's clear military superiority has been established before the world. He humbly thanked Almighty Allah for granting them victory against India.
Meanwhile, addressing a thanksgiving public rally in Lahore on Sunday, Attaullah Tarar praised the bravery and valour of Pakistan's armed forces, highlighting their successful efforts in thwarting the enemy's malicious intentions. He said the contributions of Pakistan's land, air, and naval forces in defence of the country will forever be remembered in history.
Paying tribute to the inspiring leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Attaullah Tarar emphasized that national defence was safeguarded, proving that no force can defeat Pakistan's armed forces.
He further said the Pakistan Army destroyed the enemy's brigade headquarters, compelling them to raise the white flag, while the Pakistan Air Force successfully shot down enemy fighter jets.
The Minister highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan effectively countered Indian propaganda through tireless efforts in information warfare.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude, he acknowledged the entire nation, social media users, media persons, and anchors for their role in exposing and dismantling the disinformation campaign from the Indian side.
Attaullah Tarar also paid tribute to the families of martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of the nation. He remarked that no nation can be defeated if its people march forward with unwavering determination and a willingness to sacrifice.
