Khanewal: In the wake of recent floods, Khanewal Police and the District Administration are standing firm on the frontline. District Police Officer (DPO) Ismail Kharrak and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Salma Suleman visited the affected areas, including Fasal Shah and Mamdal Bund, to review ongoing rescue and relief operations.During the visit, ADC-R, SDPOs, SHOs and other senior police officers accompanied the officials. Both the DPO and DC inspected flood relief camps, tent villages, and interacted with the displaced families.DPO Ismail Kharrak stated: 'Protecting the lives and property of flood victims is our top priority. So far, more than 6,000 people have been shifted to safe locations. Our police personnel are serving the public without caring for their own lives. In this difficult hour, we will never abandon our people - this is our promise and we will stand by it.'He further emphasized that Khanewal Police, along with Rescue teams, are present in the field day and night, and the flood relief o peration continues with full force. He directed officers and staff to perform their duties with dedication, patriotism, and courage.Deputy Commissioner Dr. Salma Suleman assured that food, shelter, and basic facilities are being provided to all flood victims. 'In this testing time, state institutions stand shoulder to shoulder with the people like an iron wall,' she said.The Khanewal Police and District Administration reaffirmed their resolve that this challenge will also be overcome with the same spirit and determination with which the nation has faced every trial. Every sacrifice will be made to ensure the safety and well-being of the people.
