MUZAFFARABAD:Azad Kashmir police have said it has recovered kidnapped Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Akram.

AS per media report , workers of proscribed Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee had allegedly kidnapped additional district and session judge Muhammad Akram.

According to a Rawlakot police official, judge was recovered during an operation on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

Police said Additional District and Sessions judge Muhammad Akram was on his way from Rawlakot to Muzaffarabad via Palandri while the workers of proscribed Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee kidnapped him along with vehicle at gun point on the way.

According to local police driver and gunman of judge were also present in the vehicle.

A statement issued by Rawlakot police said the workers of committee resorted to firing outside the hospital during the proceedings leaving two persons including one police man injured.
