Peshawar: NAB has handed over assets valuing over Rs 6 billion to KP government in Kohistan Financial corruption case. Chairman NAB Lt Gen (Retd) Nazir Ahmad handed over the assets to chief secretary KP Shahab Ali Shah.In the first phase assets valuing more than Rs 6 billion were handed over to provincial government. The assets which were handed over include cash, gold, valuable properties and luxury vehicles.According to NAB the assets were returned as a result of organized and comprehensive investigations. Over Rs 37 billion have been embezzled from government funds in Kohistan financial corruption case,Chairman NAB said the complicated financial embezzlement was exposed through effective investigations.
