Peshawar: Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur has said KP is our province and decisions be not imposed on us without our consultation. " Innocent citizens were martyred in Bajaur. This is our province and decisions be not imposed on us without our consultation, he said this in a video statement here.An emergency meeting of PTI parliamentary party and law and order took place under CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur with reference to peace and security situation in the province . Chief secretary, IGP, Additional chief and others officials attended the meeting.Current law and order situation in the perspective of Bajaur incident was reviewed.The respective authorities gave briefing to CM KP on current law and order situation in the province.CM KP issued a video statement following meeting of parliamentary party.He said in the statement we stand with the decisions of All Parties Conference (APC) held some days before with reference to law and order situation. We are making preparations to implement these de cisions at government level.He said a tragic incident occurred in Bajaur and innocent citizens of the area were martyred in this incident.The loss of lives of citizens in operations against terrorism are leaving negative impact. Such incidents are creating trust deficit between people and army. Due to trust deficit we are not winning war on terror.Security personnel who were martyred in war on terror too are our children. They are as much dear to us as civilians are. But their martyrdom is not being honored due to wrong policies. Therefore, we should review these policies.He said we have issued schedule for holding jirgas for peace in merged districts. A grand jirga will be held within ten days after local level jirgas.In these jirgas future strategy and narrative will be worked out in consultation with and in the light of proposals of elected representatives and all stake holders in these jirgas.He held the recommendations and decisions of these jirgas will be placed before those who are responsi ble for security so that the present policy be reviewed. We want elimination of terrorism but it should be done with the trust of people.We have reservations in the matter of action in aid of civil power. Assembly session has been summoned from August 01. In addition to other matters, this matter will also be discussed either it is benefitting or causing loss to us.He stated it is our clear message we are standing with our people. We will go to every length for the sake of people. This is our province and this is our soil. Wrong decisions be not imposed on us without our consultation.I direct all deputy commissioners no one will impose curfew or section -144 without prior permission of home department.Earlier a meeting on law and order situation in Bajaur was held under CM KP. The participants expressed condolence with the family members of civilians and security personnel who were martyred in Bajaur incident.CM KP announced Rs one crore each for family members of civilians and security personnel wh o were martyred in the incident. Rs 25 lac were announced each for civilians and security personnel who were injured in the incident.
