Peshawar: Judicial Magistrate court has acquitted 5 accused persons including provincial minister Meena Khan Afridi, MPA Fazal Elahi and PTI district president Irfan Salim in Corps Commander House attack case.

The case related to attack on Corps Commander House Peshawar came up for hearing before judicial magistrate Daulat Khan Tuesday.

Magistrate issued acquittal orders of 5 accused in the case.

Those acquitted include provincial minister Meena Khan Afridi nand PTI district president Irfan Salim.

PTI regional president Asim Khan, MPA Fazal Elahi and Tehsil Nazim Inam Khan were acquitted as well.

It is pertinent to mention here police had written a letter to deputy speaker KP Assembly about arrest of PTI MPA Fazal Elahi on the matter of protest outside Corps Commander House Peshawar on November 3, 2022.
