Peshawar: Police Department KP has demanded of provincial government to enhance Shuhada package. As per media reports, police department has worked out recommendations for enhancement in Shuhada package and forwarded them to home department.It has been said in the recommendations that the package of KP police martyrs and injured is lesser than other provinces. Enhancing Shuhada package is must for raising the morale of police personnel.It has been said in the recommendations of police department Shuhada Package till inspector be raised Rs 1 crore 10 lac. 5 marla plot be given to family members of shaheed constable and 7 marla plot to the family members of martyred inspector. Compensation amounting to Rs 1 crore 60 lac be paid to family members of shaheed DSP and ASP. It has been recommended to provide 10 marla plot to the family members.The documents said Rs8 lac bridal gift be given to family members on marriage of every daughter of shaheed police men. Compensation of damage regarding vehicle, home and other assets during terrorism be also paid. Compensation be also paid to relative who is martyred or injured along with police man during terrorism.Rs 50 lac be paid to wife and children of affected police men and Rs 30 lac be paid to parents and brothers and sisters. It has been said in police recommendations Shuhada Package of Rs 2 crore 10 lac be fixed for family members of shaheed police officers from grade 18 to 22. Recommendation has also been made to provide one kanal plot to the family members of shaheed police officers from grade 18 to 22.
