Islamabad: The last date for filing nomination papers in connection with local bodies election in Islamabad has been extended.

Election Commission (EC) has extended for two days the last date for filing nomination papers.

According to EC spokesperson now the date for filing nomination papers has been fixed December 30, 2025.

Earlier the last date for filing nomination papers was December 27.
