Lawyers in Islamabad end protest against the Judicial Commission meeting, restoring traffic and normalcy in the capital

Islamabad: The lawyers' community has called off its protest in Islamabad against the Judicial Commission meeting, and demonstrators at D-Chowk have dispersed. Following the end of the protest, traffic at D-Chowk was reopened.

SSP Operations Shoaib Khan remained present at the site, while DIG Operations and SSP Traffic were actively monitoring the situation in the field. The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad and relevant Assistant Commissioners were also stationed at key points.

During the protest, scuffles were reported between lawyers and police officials. With the protest concluded, roads leading to the Red Zone are now reopening, and normalcy is gradually returning to the capital.
