Lahore:Judicial Activism Panel (JAP) has issued legal notice to Chie Minister (CM) Punjab and governor Punjab against appointments in Punjab Information Commission (PIC).

Notice raises questions " how the merit and transparency were ensured in appointments, Where the advertisement for appointment was given, Why the merit record of appointment of Chief Information Commission has not been brought to open.

There is no room for concealing the information from the people under article 19-A of the constitution. Complete record of appointments in PIC be provided.

If the information are not provided within seven days then Lahore High Court (LHC) will be approached.
