Lahore: Finance Minister (FM) Muhammad Aurangzeb has said legislation has been enacted for making assets of government employees public.
"IMF has asked to bring to public assets of government employees. This is not additional conditionality. This is practical step, he said this while addressing a ceremony here Saturday.
He indicated the assets of civil servants and parliaments come on website on December 31.
He stated IMF has asked to bring to public assets of government employees. We have made laws in this regard.
Generating jobs is not domain of government. It is job of private sector. Providing conducive environment for young business men is priority of government. Private sector will have to lead the country.
He underlined digital economy and e-commerce led to bring expansion in business activities. Advent of transparency in tax recovery and boost in confidence due to collection of tax through automatic system is good omen.
The corruption witnessed remarkable decline due to hard work and efforts of economic team of Prime Minister. The inflation rate is still contained.
He remarked we have to move to digital economy. The agreement we have signed to issue license to crypto exchanges will bring more betterment. Over two and half crore people are engaged in crypto business. Majority of them are youths.
Country will run, economy will run and we will take the country ahead, he asserted.
