Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has constituted full bench to hear the petitions against 27th constitutional amendment.

Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Naeem has constituted 3-member full bench to hear the petitions.

Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan has been appointed head of the full bench. Justice Jawad Hassan and Justice Sultan Tanvir will be members of full bench.

Prime Minister and speaker National Assembly have been made respondents through secretaries.

The petition said the real power of the Supreme Court (SC) has been abolished through amendment and Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has been established .

It is feared SC position may become weak and the independence of judiciary is affected.
