LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed for hearing petition filed against the ordinance pertaining to appointment of retired judges in Election Tribunal (ET).Justice Shahid Karim of LHC will hear on July 15 the petitions filed by Suleman Akram Raja and others.It was requested in the petition that the election ordinance 2024 related to appointment of retired judges in ET be declared illegal. The induction of retired judges in ET be also declared unconstitutional.It was further requested in the petition that the appointment of retired judges in ET be stopped till the final decision of the case.
