Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has imposed ban on running smoke emitting generators in Green lock down area.The court also ordered to install pollution control device in commercial generations in next seven days.Justice Shahid Karim of LHC issued written order on the petitions filed by citizen Haroon Farooq and others Thursday.The court maintained in the written order encroachments be removed from hot spot areas so that pollution is not generated due to traffic flow.The government appreciated the steps taken by the incumbent government and DG environment.The court wrote in order state counsel told super seeds have been distributed among the farming community under the orders of court.Commissioner Lahore division should file report on Kasur tanneries in next 15 days.Counsel for LDA presented inquiry report regarding decoration of underpasses .DG LDA should implement this report.Court adjourned the hearing of case till today (Friday),
