LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) while issuing notice to the respondents on the petition seeking fixation of chicken price as per rules has sought reply.The petition seeking fixation of chicken prices as per rules came up for hearing before acting Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Abid Aziz Monday.The miscellaneous petition was filed by Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA).PPA took the plea in the petition that the procedure adopted by government of Punjab with reference to chicken price is illegal.It was requested in the petition that price mechanism be evolved in consultation with PPA and Traders Association (TA). Court should order for fixing the price of chicken according to rules and regulations.LHC recommended to send the petition in the court of justice Sajid Mehmood Sethi.Later the court while issuing notice to the respondents for fixation of price of chicken as per rules has sought reply from the respondents till August 16.
