Lahore: A miscellaneous petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) against kite flying in Lahore despite ban. The petition has been filed by citizen Munir Ahmad in LHC.

The petitioner has taken the plea a police constable was injured in Lahore two days back due to metallic string. The kite flying is continuing in Lahore despite ban.

Police is not taking effective steps against use of chemical string and kite flying.

The court has been requested through the petition to issue orders for registration of case against responsible persons.
