Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned DG FIA in person for presenting scanned report in contempt of court case.

During the hearing of contempt of court plea, Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Justice Aalia Neelum expressed resentment over scanned report presented by FIA.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the scanned report, CJ LHC directed DG FIA Dr Usman Anwar to appear in person today (Oct 01).

During the hearing CJ LHC Aalia Neelum inquired who is DG FIA.

Deputy Director told the court Dr Usman Anwar is DG FIA.

CJ LHC remarked he should be asked to appear before court in person today (Oct 01).

CJ LHC Aalia Neelum said now scanned copies will be presented by FIA in the court.

The court while summoning DG FIA adjourned the hearing of contempt of court plea till tomorrow.
