Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended by polls schedule in NA-175 besides issuing notice to Election Commission, Attorney General and others.

Petition against disqualification of Jamshed Dasti came up for hearing in LHC Wednesday.

A 3-member full bench of LHC presided over by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum heard the petition.

Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum inquired Wakil Sahb tell me this you signed power of attorney when. Tell truly , the story is very interesting.

Counsel for Jamshed Dasti said I have signed power of attorney late.

The CJ LHC said " I have read all, the entire petition and decision of Election Commission (EC).

Counsel Ishtiaq Chaudhry took the plea reference came to EC and notice was issued on it. It is decision of Supreme Court (SC) that EC can not disqualify any one on its own without any court's declaration.

Counsel Ishtiaq Chaudhry said EC disqualified the petitioner without court's declaration in this case.
