Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended order of Sessions Court regarding registration of case against Suleman Shahbaz, son of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.
Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum while hearing the petition against session court order issued notices to the respondents.
The court has sought reply till July 31.
The case was heard by CJ IHC Aalia Neelum.
Javed Arshid Bhatti advocate appeared in the court on behalf of Suleman Shahbaz.
The petitioner took the plea session court issued orders on July 10 for registration of case against the law. The court ordered to register case on the matter of dishonored cheque without taking into account the facts.
The petitioner requested the court to declare null and void sessions court order for registration of case besides suspending the order for registration of case till final decision.
The court after hearing preliminary arguments suspended session court order and adjourned the hearing of the case till July 31.
