LHC upholds decision of death sentence in rape cum murder case of a minor girl

Lahore: Chief Justice (CJ) Lahore High Court (LHC) Aalia Neelum while rejecting appeal plea of the death convict Qaisar against his death sentence in rape cum murder case of a minor girl has maintained such criminals don't deserve for mercy who have perpetrated such heinous crime on a 6 years old girl.

A two members bench of LHC comprising CJ Aalia Neelum and Justice Abhar Gul issued 20 pages written order regarding the appeal pleas of the convict Qaisar against his death sentence.

The decision was authored by CJ IHC Aalia Neelum.

CJ LHC wrote in her decision that 6 years old girls play with their dolls. They are unaware of materialist world. The criminal Qaisar was 32 years old. He was aware of doom of heinous crime.

It was said in the decision that murdering the minor girl after rapping her foments harassment in general public.

Such heinous crime not only shakes conscience of the society but also it shakes the conscience of the court. Such criminals do not deserve for any pity who have committed brutality with a six years old girl.

According to decision Narowal police registers rape cum murder case in respect of a minor girl in 2018. According to father of the girl he sends her daughter to bring plass from the home of criminal.

As per father of girl they start searching girl after much time. The body of the girl is recovered from the room of the house of the convict . The DNA test and forensic reports of the convict matched.

It was said in the decision appellant could not prove his case . Therefore, the court dismisses the appeal plea of the convict and upholds the decision of death sentence.
