Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has wrapped up contempt of court plea against DG FIA for not holding inquiry into the matter of making pictures viral on social media despite court's orders.Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum took up for hearing petition filed by citizen Ghafran.DG FIA Dr Usman appeared in the court under court's order.Justice Aalia Neelum remarked doctor sahib what was this procedure of filing report. Your officer filed a photocopy in the name of report. Is doing all allowed in uniform. Dr Sahb is your department not under your control.The CJ LHC Aalia Neelum said report is not given even at any private place this way. You know that contempt of court proceedings can be initiated due to such act. There should not be any such irresponsibility from the side of Discipline force.DG FIA told the court the officer who has presented the report has been suspended.The court inquired from counsel of federal government do you bring your officers with this type of preparation.Deputy Attorne y General Rafaqat Dogar said we regret to court. Such negligence will not recur in future. FIA has completed the inquiry under court's orders.Justice Aalia Neelum remarked report should not be filed in any court this way in future.The court wrapped up contempt of court plea in the light of FIA report.The petitioner had filed petition against not holding inquiry on the matter of making pictures viral on social media.
