Islamabad: Another major oil and gas reserve has been discovered in district Sanghar.

According to OGDCL spokesperson a new oil and gas reserve has been discovered in district Sanghar. The reserves have been discovered from Bobi Deep-1 well of Bobi Mining Lease.

OGDC has informed the government and share holders on this significant progress.

According to statement 2000 barrel oil per day will be available from this well. The initial production of gas from the well is estimated at 1100000 standard cubic feet per day.

The spokesperson OGDCL said the well was dug to the depth of 3305 meters in Sambar formation.

According to experts the quantity of oil obtained per day from the well is considerable. This discovery will narrow the gap between the demand and supply of oil and gas in the country.
