Lahore: Former Prime Minister (PM) and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif has said man who had come through dishonesty had shaken foundations of Pakistan.
"We rendered sacrifices for Pakistan smilingly and will render sacrifices in future too, he said this while talking to Members of Punjab Assembly (MPAs) who met him and Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz here Wednesday.
Those who met with him included MPAs from Nankana Sahb, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara and Pakpattan divisions.
Mian Nawaz Sharif said we have turned the direction of fall to progress. Betterment in economic indicators is betterment of Pakistan.
He remarked economic activities are on rise due to fall in policy rate from 22 percent to 12 percent. It is benefitting economy. Rupee has become stable and growth rate is increasing. While stock exchange is at ever highest level. Inflation is on ascendency path
Lauding the efforts of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif for growth of economy he said Shehbaz Sharif efforts are bearing fruit. IMF has also acknowledged revival of economy and Pakistan is heading towards development. .
He observed Pakistan is coming out of darkness. PML-N has again proved only we serve Pakistan and extend relief to people.
MPAs said they feel pride that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif are their Quaid. They underwent suffering but they always preferred interest of state to politics. Nawaz Sharif is symbol and guarantor of development of Pakistan . Whenever prosperity of country is discussed then only Nawaz Sharif name comes therein.
Paying tributes to Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz they said it is good luck of Punjab and people of Punjab that Maryam Nawaz like prudent and hard working C M is there in province.
Maryam Nawaz said coming betterment in the life of people is fruit of our efforts. Nawaz Sharif is brand of development of Pakistan. Our recognition and identification is Nawaz Sharif.
PML-N senior leaders senator Pervez Rashid, Rana Sana Ullah, Maryam Aurangzeb and Rashid Nasrullah were also present in the meeting.
