Lahore: Sessions Court Lahore while declaring 3 accused proclaimed offenders in Maira murder case has ordered to send case file to record room.

Additional Sessions Judge Shabraiz Akhtar Raja took up the case for hearing Monday.

The court ordered that non- bailable arrest warrants of the accused have been issued and they have absconded deliberately. Therefore, the accused are declared proclaimed offenders with issuing non bailable arrest warrants.

The accused Tahir Jadoon, Zahir Jadoon and Muhammad Wasim are declared proclaimed offenders.

Affidavits of Muhammad Zulfiqar father of victim and Shabana Tabassum mother of victim were filed. The heirs to the victim live in London and they have sent their attested affidavit through embassy.

The parents of victim also verified whats app video call that the victim Maira was not married. Her father and mother are her heirs.

The court has sought affidavit regarding compromise from the counsel of the accused.

It is pertinent to mention here that 26 years old on
e Maira Zulfiqar British citizen of Pakistan national was found dead in her house in the area of defence in Lahore on May 3.

Police had registered case of murder against 4 persons including two nominated persons in police station Defenc B.

Later one Zahid Jadoon who is nominated in case confessed his offence in the custody of police.

The accused had said in his confessional statement that Maira was in the state of intoxication and quarrel took place with her. I had myself shot dead Maira on May 3. Iqra knew it Zahir Jadoon was friend of Maira since long.
