Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar has said Marka-e-Haq, is a decisive chapter of our national history.

First anniversary of Marka-e-Haq is not a date of a calendar but is lovely story of courage , unity and unwavering resolve. Every soldier remained steadfast on it and the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with him.

Pakistan will not compromise on its integrity, he said this in a statemnet on the occasion of completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that when aggression was imposed upon us last year, Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif acted with calm resolve and moral clarity. He said our response was measured, responsible, and precise; guided not by emotion, but by principle.

He said through this calibrated and resolute response, Pakistan sent a clear and unambiguous message that Pakistan stands for peace, but it will never compromise on its dignity, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence.

The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed that any threat to Pakistan will be met with national unity, unshakeable resolve and strength through all means available.

He said Pakistan remains committed to regional peace and stability. He said we believe in dialogue, diplomacy and in resolving disputes through justice and mutual respect.

He made it clear that Kashmir issue be resolved as per UN resolutions and aspirations of people of Kashmir . There can be no peace in South Asia without resolving the basic issues including core issue of Kashmir.

Pakistan will not compromise on its integrity. Every aggression will be responded with full force.

Pakistan will grow stronger too in economy , education and other sectors.

Pakistan is playing a vital role for promotion of peace in the region, he added.
