Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved construction of eight hundred mini dams to conserve rainwater in the Pothohar. Chairing a meeting on agriculture transformation and water management in Lahore today, she reviewed progress on water conservation and groundwater management across the province.
Maryam Nawaz directed the departments of Agriculture, Irrigation, Housing and Local Government to work under a unified “One Window Water Security” framework.
