Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appealed to citizens living in flood-prone areas to fully cooperate with the administration and immediately shift to safer locations.
In her statement, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the government's foremost priority is to protect the lives of people. 'Please cooperate with the civil administration and rescue agencies. At this time, the safety of your lives and your children must come first,' she urged.
The Chief Minister assured the public that losses to homes, crops, and livestock are being assessed and promised full compensation. 'A transparent estimation of damages will be conducted, and the rights of every affected citizen will be delivered. This is my commitment,' she said.
Maryam Nawaz reiterated her appeal, asking residents of flood-affected areas to give top priority to their safety and evacuate to secure places without delay.
