Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has issued non-bailable arrest warrants of 14 accused including Omar Ayub , Zartaj Gul and Kanwal Shauzab in May 9 related 12 cases including attack on GHQ case.

The court ordered that the accused be arrested and presented before it on September 3.

The court dismissed exemption from attendance plea of the accused.

Prosecutor Zaheer Shah and counsels for the accused were present in the court during hearing of the case.

The counsels filed exemption from attendance plea from 14 accused in May 9 related cases during the hearing of the case.

The prosecution told the court these 14 accused are convicted and sentenced by Lahore and Faisalabad courts due to which they are absconding.

Prosecution was of the view they did not appear after obtaining bail from here. Therefore, their bail pleas be dismissed.

The court while agreeing to the arguments of prosecutor issued non -bailable arrest warrants of Omar Ayub , Zartaj Gul, Kanwal Shozab and Chaudhry Asif.

The court has ordered the accused be arrested and presented before it.

The further hearing of the case will take place on September 03.
