Islamabad: Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch, announced that the Council will hold a nationwide protest on October 10 against Trump's so-called peace plan.
Addressing a press conference, Liaqat Baloch said that US President Donald Trump's so-called peace plan is, in fact, an attempt to impose the illegitimate state of Israel on the Muslim world, a plan that the Council completely rejects. He announced that nationwide protest demonstrations would be held on October 10 to express practical solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Liaqat Baloch stated that, in line with the policy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Israel is an illegitimate state, and the only solution to the Palestine issue is the establishment of a free and independent Palestinian state.
The press conference was attended by Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Dr. Zameer Akhtar Khan, Dr. Ali Abbas Naqvi, Dr. Muhammad Sher Sialvi, Zahid Ali Akhunzada, Tahir Rasheed Tanoli, Shahid Shamsi, and Israr Ahmed Naeemi, among other leaders.
In a joint declaration, it was stated that the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the atrocities in Gaza, and the killing of thousands of innocent people constitute the worst violation of human rights. The support and silence of global powers towards Israel amount to complicity in these crimes.
The Council termed the two-state solution a deception against the Palestinian nation, asserting that the Muslim Ummah will only recognize one free Palestinian state and will reject any proposal that limits Palestinian sovereignty.
The declaration described Hamas, Hezbollah, and other resistance movements as the true defensive frontlines of the Muslim Ummah, urging Muslim countries to end their internal differences and adopt a joint defensive strategy.
Addressing the Government of Pakistan, the Council emphasized that all foreign and defense policy decisions should be made with national leadership and parliamentary consensus, warning that any deviation from Quaid-e-Azam's principled stance would have grave consequences.
Welcoming the defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Council urged that it be expanded into a comprehensive Islamic defense alliance including all Muslim countries.
Finally, the Milli Yakjehti Council announced nationwide protest demonstrations on October 10 to express solidarity with the Palestinian people, which will include rallies and seminars in major cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
