Rawalpindi: Mobile service has been shut in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in view of PTI protest.Issuing high alert section 144 has been imposed and all the roads connecting both the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been closed.Double containers have been placed on Murree road, T-chowk 26 No chungi, IJP road, Khiaban-e-Sirsyed, six road, Peshawar road, Katarian and traffic has been suspended thereon.Islamabad Express way too has been sealed on different spots IJP Double road has also closed for traffic. All the roads coming to Murree road have also been shut. Heavy contingent of police have been deployed on all the roads.Pillion riding has been banned in the city. Metro bus service has also been suspended till further orders.CPO Khalid Hamdani said special contingents have been deployed to deal with those found involved in disrupting the peace.
