Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the attack carried out by terrorists on the Fatah Khel police checkpost near Bannu.

Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the martyred police officer Rooh Niaz, who laid down his life bravely fighting the terrorists. He also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family. The Interior Minister expressed prayers for the swift recovery of the injured personnel. He lauded the police for their courage and valor in eliminating the three terrorists involved in the attack.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the sacrifice of Shaheed Rooh Niaz is deeply honored. The police bravely confronted the terrorists who launched their attack under the cover of darkness and thwarted their plans with great determination. With their heroic response, the police brought the attackers to a disgraceful end. The martyred police officer attained the highest rank of martyrdom in the line of duty. The courageous sacrifice of this brave son of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police will always be remembered.
