Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with US Ambassador Natalie Baker.

During the meeting, overall situation in the region and matters related to peace and stability were discussed.

Both sides also discussed Pakistan-US bilateral cooperation and ways to further enhance cooperation in various fields.

The meeting also covered mutual programmes and training opportunities for police officers.

Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation against organized crime, narcotics and human trafficking.

The US Ambassador appreciated the positive diplomatic role being played by the Field Marshal for peace and stability in the region. Federal Interior Secretary was also present on the occasion.
